It is a project facilitated by Aus Aid, NZ Aid, Vital Voices, and the International Finance Corporation. Approximately 80-90 guests from a combination of Niue’s leading government representatives, non-government organisations, private business sector, and community representatives filled the hall to celebrate the 2012 project. Special coin-operated binoculars imported from the United States will be set up at six sites around the island in time to see the humpbacks which pass close to the island from mid-June on their southbound migration.
